Fresher party (VIVRAMERS) organised by BBA department on 03/10/2017

This event is organised by second year students to have a good communication with the juniors and to welcome the juniors in the college. This event was a full day party program in seminar hall of BFGI. Juniors performed and showed their talents. At the end of the party judges gave the title of Mr. Fresher and Mrs. Fresher to the best performer of the day.

SQUADRA'17

A Big Congratulation to BBA 5th semester students of Baba Farid Group of Institutionson successful event SquadrA'17 which was conceptualized and organized in association with #BigBazaar .

A total of 25 teams participated in this event which had various rounds such as Fashion Fever, Talent Graph and Mental & Physical Fight.

Gurbakhshish Singh Brar and Gaurav Garg from B.com were awarded by SquadrA champions 2017 trophy.

“It's hard to say goodbye for good at any time or any place. It's harder still to say it through a meshed wire." Baba Farid College organized a farewell party “SAYONARA-17” for #BBA Final Year students to pay their regards and good luck. The students presented a cultural bonanza of songs, dances and other items on the occasion to entertain their seniors.

“BFCMT GOT TALENT” an inter-College Competition organized by Baba Farid College of Management & Technology

Co-curricular activities not only help students to identify their hidden talent but also assist them to develop themselves in a desired field. A wide range of activities prepare students better for the future, especially in today’s competitive world.  Co-curricular activities prepare students practically for the future as well as good at providing opportunities for students to work in teams, to exercise leadership, and to take the initiative themselves. These experiences make students more attractive to universities and to potential employers .BFGI has very well recognized its importance and remains keen to organize various activities where students can showcase their talent. Not breaking that tradition, Baba Farid College of Management & Technology recently organized an inter college Competition as BFGI GOT TALENT” between students of Baba Farid College & Baba Farid College of Management in three Categories like Best Entertainment Award, Best Funny Poetry Award and Best Fit Award”. In Overall 42 budding talented students from BBA, MBA and B.Com participated. In this glorious Competition Students participate with great enthusiasm.”Best Entertainment Award” was comprised of dance, Song, Mimicry where in Sudha Soni (BBA 5th Sem) bagged first Position, Bhupinder Singh (BBA 5th Sem)& Sachin Sachdeva (B.Com 5th Sem) bagged second Position. In “Best Funny Poetry Award” students presented Funny poetries in different languages where in Shinder pal Singh (MBA 3rd Sem) bagged winner’s position.“ Best Fit Award” was Surprise activity in which Gagandeep Kaur (MBA 3rd Sem) Coveted “Best Fit Award- Female” and Arshdeep Singh(BBA 5th Sem) & Gurdhian Singh(MBA 3rd Sem) Coveted “ Best Fit Award- Male.  All the Head of departments graced the event with their presence and Mr. Parminder Singh & Ms. Jia performed the most difficult job of judging this wonderful event.

BFCMT Organized Event “YAAD KARO QURBANI“ to Celebrate 70 years of Independence on 17th August, 2016

To Celebrate 70th Independence day , Baba Farid College of Management & Technology Organized Quiz Competition based on the theme “YAAD KARO QURBANI” as well as Painting Competition based on the theme “ Era of Freedom Struggles in India”. A Total of 38 Students Participated in both Competitions. Students Participated with Great Zeal and Enthusiasm. The Guests of Honour were Mr.Deepinder Singh Brar(DSW), Mrs. Neetu Singh and Mrs. Jia Dhingra.The Entire Event Witnessed extraordinary talent of Students in Painting Competition.

In today's education era, presentations are conducted in almost every institute of higher education, particularly in B-schools and even at a later stage when you go for jobs. Having presentation skills help students not only in their career but in their life as whole as good presentations are needed at every step. With the same motive, BBA department organized a PowerPoint Competition.

Event ADBHUT-2015: Organized by Students of BBA Department

Academics curriculum may not be sufficient for boosting up the creativity and innovation among the students. Education is a platform where everyone learns the same thing in college but there is something more than just academics which makes one different from others. The students of BBA department organized an event named ADBHUT-2015 in the College Campus.The event was categorized into six major streams namely JAM, Pair the Picture, Listen to Me, Management Quest, Pro Uses & Cluenagement Technique.The event was a part of their Live Project. Education and competition are two universal ingredients of student life. On one hand, it is natural for students to compete and, therefore, understandable that competition is put to educational use. On the other hand, competition may be found so important in adult life that a society especially educates their young to compete. Department of Management, Baba Farid College organized a paper reading competition. Students of BBAparticipated enthusiastically.

A speech competition : Organized by BBA department on "Dowry - A social Stigma"

A speech competition organized by Baba Farid College of Management & Technology on "Dowry - A social Stigma" to make them aware about the prevailing Social evils in our society. Dowry is such a vicious practice that gives birth to all other problems like Female feticide, Gender inequality. Number of Students participated and enlightened the audience with their valuable view.

A debate competition : Organized by BBA department on "Impact of Social Media on Youth"

Academics curriculum may not be enough for increasing creativity and innovation in students. Everyone learns the same thing in college but what makes them different from others is the extra knowledge they have. As the vision of BFGI is also aligned with the overall development of students, therefore the extracurricular activities cannot be ignored. Recently, an Inter departmental debate competition on "Impact of Social Media on Youth" was organized by department of Management (BBA)

A Parliamentary debate competition: Organized by BBA department on "Ahimsa Parmo Dharma" to celebrate the Gandhi Jayanti

The importance of extra knowledge reaches out to far beyond books and exams that helps students in all walks of life. To make our students more competitive, BBA Dept. organized a parliamentary debate on "Ahimsa Permo Dharma" on Oct 1st to celebrate the Gandhi Jayanti. The prime motive of this activity was to make students aware about the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi and to encourage them to espouse in their lives. This activity was designed for all the students of Baba Farid College of Management & Technology.

Creative writing competition : Organized by BBA department

BBA department organized a Creative writing competition for the students of BBA on the topic "Reforms in Indian Education System you suggest". Students of BBA took part in the competition .Students were seen excited expressing their ideas and views on the topic.

Quiz competition : Regular activity at Management College

Quiz competitions are organized by every department at Management College fortnightly. It is special type of activity in which objective questions are given to students to enhance their general knowledge so that they can perform in a well manner on all fronts. A sense of healthy competition also comes forward among the students and they always try to sharp their general awareness skills by reading newspapers, magazines and books.

Collage making competition: Organized by BBA Department

Extracurricular activities play a vital role in the development of overall development of Students. Out of the classroom activities help students to understand the importance of critical thinking skills, time management and intellectual competence. Hence, in order to provide them opportunity to display their innovative ideas, a competition was held on Collage Making. Three themes (Independence Movements, Social evils, Indian Culture) were given to the students. They were supposed to make a collage on any one of the above mentioned themes. At the time of Judgement, students had to explain their theme.

PowerPoint master of BFGI competition: Organized by BBA department

AD- MAD Show : Organized by BBA department

Bringing all creative minds to a creative high, BBA Department organized a AD-MAD competition. The competition was an initiative to give an opportunity to the young creative minds to showcase their talent. The participants were given a round called `ad mad', where students were asked to create and act for an advertisement of a product. All participants of various departments took part in this competition. That event was in great success.

Glorious Children Day Celebration- Initiative by BBA department

'Children's Day' a day dedicated to children is observed as an event across the world to celebrate childhood and promote awareness about children's welfare. Endorsed by global organizations and governments, this celebration aims to promote the well being of children and to uplift their social rights. Children's Day coincides with the birthday of Pandit Jawahar lal Nehru (November 14, 1889 - May 27, 1964), first Prime Minister of India after Independence, and so is observed in a grand way. With the same thought, BBA department celebrated children day with the students of BBA and PGDIB. All the faculty members visited the classrooms and greeted the students on this eve. Chocolates were distributed among the students; teachers spent great time with students to make them feel special. Students had a amazing fun on that day in the last lecture. Overall it was very glorious day with students.
